I walked away that door
thinking only of you.
God knows how much pain
I had to underwent.
Halfheartedly, I dragged
every single step.
I decided to leave
so as to give you space.
I kept my distance;
A wall, I made.
Though being stoic
was my usual pretense,
In silence, I wept
and longed for your presence.
If you want me back
just tell me so;
