I’m grateful that time
has healed the wounds.
I’m grateful that my questions
have discovered the truth.
I’m grateful that life
has made me mature
prior to revealing
what may have caused my doom.
Life has its reasons
that are yet to be known.
In time they’ll be answered:
to me, they’ll be shown.
People may have left,
but footprints remain.
Strength has taught me
not to follow their trail.
Each path that we take
has no certainty.
I’m grateful that by now
I learned to just let it be.

That is a beautiful poem about time, love, hurt and feeling. It is true that we have many questions about ourselves, and about life itself. What happens when life becomes the great question?
We become what we were meant to be, or we remain cynics, forever.
We write beautifully!
Great poem. I like the idea of time unveiling hidden truths and healing hurts. I often wonder what happens when life becomes the great question...
Thank you Romuald. I'm glad you liked it.
