Staring at Heaven,
SHE wished for MY presence.
Alas, Sky remained a blank canvass.
Envying Moon, playing with her Stars,
SHE ran faster than Wind’s pace,
ignoring Rain’s piercing claws.
Thunder played her rhythm,
Lightning danced to the beat,
Focused, SHE endured to her feat.
With her rays, Sun beamed a smile.
Still, SHE kept on running… and running… and running…
Suddenly, Rock thwarted HER sprint.
No! IT wasn’t Rock.
IT was moving.
I picked IT up.
With tears rolling down MY cheeks,
I approached HER.
“MOTHER, this is MY CHILD…”
“YOU could have moved this world, yes;
but I just needed to become a mother
to once again be YOUR daughter.”
